How did you formulate your forum name? Some are kinda obvious, some not so.

                        Forum name

Back in the late 70's I drove 1969 Chevy cargo van with holes big enough to throw a cat through and hasps and paddle locks on the rear doors to keep them from popping open when going over railroad tracks.
One fine morning I came out of the house to find that my best friend Bob had used silver spray paint across the back of the van that said "Lucky Eddie".
The name stuck (and Bob is still my best friend).

Well I got the nickname in college. I have been a redneck (the glorious absence of sophistication) all my life. But I went to college and have a degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology in Robotics. One day while testing the programming of a robotic project that I had just finished, A friend who was watching it run in amazement walked over to me and said " well you are a hightec redneck for sure" and the nickname just stuck. I designed fully automated equipment and process control systems for over 20 years, yet I still pull the truck over in the winter and pick up a dead raccoon or mink and through it in the back of the truck. When a friend asked why, I said you pull over and pick up a pop can that is worth a nickel. The raccoon is worth $40.00 and that is why I stopped. lol
