I know what you mean. I don't rememeber it ever being over 7-800 listings. And the starting prices are out of site too. I used to buy a lot of XS parts shipped to the house for $20 or less. It looks like a lot of salvage yards are listing now, and of course their stuff is gold plated! One of the somewhat local yards has a listing of rolling frame pretty much stripped w/ a siezed engine and they want $250. NOT.

Look again, do an auction only search and your choices are few. I used to be able to list just about any part in an auction and people would bid. Now everyone does "buy it now" because not many bids even come in. I've watched items set there being relisted since last fall. You would think xs parts would sell all the time because it's the best "cheap" bike ever.
I paid $500 for the last bike I parted out and only sold bits and pieces. I don't even think I made it to even. That's when I stopped selling on ebay. Now that spring is here I may give it another try.....but parts and bikes will be listed with a reserve for sure. The copper chopper will be listed next week. see little pic. I know I won't get what I have in it.

auction now. With all the "Buy it now" labels they (junk yards) think they can rip you off legally. Ebay is not going to enforce anything against the sellers because that's their golden goose. I believe Ebay's next hurdle will be with the Feds for selling stolen items. They could be held as an accessory to the crime
