If i was little more literate I would copy the pic of this on Ebay. Maybe if someone was close enough they could go see it and report for us.

I think it's rear wheel drive. It IS near Tony, but I know he's out of money AND room! I would assume the motor in the car needs a second gear fix.

        Legend Race Car

That is a Legend Race Car.
        http://www.uslegendcars.com/
They are driven by full size adults and are fun to watch on both Ovals and Road courses. Series run in USA, Canada, Australia and UK
Not a Toy. I think they run a different transmission and are Rear wheel drive.
Entry is through a flap in the roof.

          Hell Yeah

Those things race down here. FJ1200 motors, tailshafts and rear wheel drive. At Mt Panorama (Bathurst) they got a bit unstable coming down Conrod Straight without downforce. With front and rear aero gear will still pull230kph+ (140mph). Several of our V8 Supercar drivers were offered a chance to have a play. Came back bouncing around on adrenaline and placed orders for their own cars. www.aussieracingcars.com.au

I visited one of the manufacturers here in Texas. I thought things were only bigger and faster in Texas. The Mfg said 95 mph, but you are inches from the ground. He does use the xj or fj engines but not the xs. They are pretty neat. I guess I should have gotten pics when I was down there a few months back but was in a hurry. Anyone want the location just pm me.

Here too, as well as the FJ11s... They take the parts they need and trash the rest of the bike, considering it not worth the trouble to part out...
Which is a bit frustrating for those of us with FJs...

These have been around for quite a few years. They originally used XS motors because of the ease of converting to RWD with the shaft drive (which explains the one for sale) but moved 'up' to the FJ/XJ when the supply started to dry up; the generally poor availability of XS engine parts was also a factor. In fact, these guys may be the reason you can't get a lot of XS engine parts anymore...

I need this like a hole in the head and it's not worth my time or a 30 mile drive to see. I suspect he's going to have it for a long time...

If I had 2 grand to blow, it would be on a Venture 1300 or a FJ1100. Both are great bikes for different reasons and that I've always sworn I would have someday...

                        Make them an offer

For the remains. If they are throwing the rest away, offer them 50/100 bucks for them. May be better than paying to have carted to tip.

If it were dirt cheap, I would get it for the xs11 engines. Then I'd put in a 500cc Kawie engine that I have sitting around and try to license it for the street... But for $2000, I can't see having that much fun with it....

The owner of the Jeep shop I used to work at built and raced these for a while. They used GSXR1100 engines. They can be made street legal. Saw a few legal ones that were convertables. Basiclly a tube frame and cage in the shape of an old car with sheetmetal riveted on.
