    I don't want to be a one-upper, but I had a disc removed at 27.
I do everything I can not to hurt my back. I'm in the best shape of my life, because of it. Chiropractors are witch doctors and the more you go the more you'll need to go.
Fred, the reason you have to go to a chiropractor is because you go to a chiropractor.
Spider, your bike is awesome. Roll with it brother!

All work and no play makes Joe a very dull boy.

Next winter it'll be too cold to fix it............the excuses are endless.

Just sell me what's left of it and I'll try to salvage some parts that can still be used on an XS.

Only thing is Dale, Joe doesn't think the Yamaha engineers knew what they were doing so he's changing EVERYTHING.

But, I wouldn't mind showing up just to point and laugh a bit......and drink his beer. ( root beer for you ) LOL

While I can agree that some chiropractors are witch doctors, there are many who are competent medical practitioners. I was sent to a chiropractor by my MD, because my back injury was not bad enough to be dealt with by surgery. The chiropractor I went to (who was highly recommended) was able to deal with my back problems over about 6 months. I have also gone to one who caused me more pain. Any chiropractor who tells me that they can cure my diabetes, I turn and run from. All of those I have gone to, have provided care for a limited time, and while many have encouraged maint care (generally a once a month visit), they have all been more concerned about me taking the proper care of my back on my own.

I have mostly been pain free back wise for the last 25 years, IMHO because of good chiropractors. Would I have recovered from my earlier injury without treatment? I don't know. But I'm convinced it would have taken much longer to recover.
