Hey folks,
Had a coworker whos father passed away a few years ago. He used to work rebuilding Volkswagons and such in front of his Condo. Well, the coworker(female) and her mother, and fiance'(not terribly mechanically inclined) decided they wanted to clean out the back yard shed, and the garage/workshop, and get rid of a lot of the "stuff", parts, tools, etc. that they didn't need or ever think they would use! They new that I was a bit of a mechanic...had helped the fiance' fix his brakes and replace timing belt and such! So..they invited me over to help them clean/remove stuff out of the shed/garage to the curb for disposal, but any of the tools and such that they didn't feel they needed....I could have! Below are the photos of what I brought home with me in my SUV and little trailer I took with me...just in case!
There was essentially a complete Craftsman mechanic's standard/metric 6 and 12 point socket and open wrench set, plus the 2 tool cabinets, a set of box end ratchet wrenches, a snap on clicker torque, an inch pound torque, a long clicker torque, funny round gauge needle torque, engine stand, jack stands, remote hydraulic jack, bottle jack, inductive timing light, propane torch, old DMM, even a BATTERY LOAD TESTER ; plethora of hammers, hatchets, axes, sledges, lock pliers, Ryobi battery drill, battery dremel, belt sander, even some Pioneer 2 way car speakers and home speakers, etc.!
So...I think I made out fairly well for 6 hours of work!!
