Hello People: Looking for a set of rear shocks for my 81XS-H. Have done some looking on the 'net but no results to date. I know they're discontinued but does anyone know where I might get a set?

If you want "stock" ones your best bet is either e-bay or a member here adreashweiss. He's got lots of parts, if you look in the parts section of the forum you'll see a post by him, send him a Pm and tell him what you need, but it might take a little bit for him to get back to you, he's fishing for a few days.

If you don't care if they are stock as long as they work then progressive sells shocks that are probabaly better then stock, and mikesxs, partsnmore, and deniskirk all sell similar shocks that are cheap but work better then worn out stock ones.

XJ 1100 air shocks work well and the adjustability is nice. They appear on eBay now and then.
Some go mono with a R1 shock and a reinforced swing arm. Lotsa trouble, but people say it's worth it.

I went with take off air shocks from a Hardley bagger. They work great, and you cannot beat the price.
