I think if I ever decide to kick it up a notch from the XS11, I'll skip the Vtwin and go for the gusto.

Hi,
Ive seen that bike on cl before at 25k, woohoo, actually dropped it five k for spring, haha.
I know a guy that built one of those with an SBC. Ive got an M109, and at six five, I dont know how someone could possibly want something bigger than that. The guy I know with the boss hoss, is only five nine, so he is a tippy toeing all the time, bah humbug is what I say to that. Thats not sour grapes, thats just plain hazardous to your health and your wallet if that thing falls over even at a stop.
I had my nine down on very soft gravel, think brand new rural road shoulder, that bike, at eight hundred pounds, was lifted upright by just me, although with who knows how much adrenaline pouring out.Last edited by yamtom; 04-17-2010, 08:48 AM.Bikes Now.

All I know is I have a 502 Ramjet in a G-Body Cutlass with a 4 link Currie rear end setup to put the power to the rubber. And with street legal tires on it, it takes almost no pedal to break them loose in any gear you want.
Now take that same kind of power, loose a couple thousand pounds, and loose about 2/3 of the rubber contact patch and tell me how you keep the shiny side up and still have any fun.
Besides, turning that monstrosity must be harder than those farkled out Harleys!!! A 30 MPH turn equals 15-20 MPH.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

I'm 5'11' and 300lbs. Everyone I talk to says the xs11 is a big bike but for me I don't think so. It still gets me 0 to 60 in the blink of any eye. I considered loosing 100lbs but that was a fleeting thought just like considering getting one of those monsters. I'm at the age where speed isn't a priority anymore. 70 is fast enough for me and that's pushing it. I don't even like driving 70 in a four wheeler. Back 25yrs ago I had no problems pushing 140 on my 80 xs11 but today those memories are good enough for me. But the V8's do have quite a cool factor to them.
