I modified my helmet. GASP!!!!
Actually not much. I was sick of not having any ventilation, even with the vents opened all the way. I used shop air and blew into the vents and nothing came out the inside. So, carefully, I disassembled the helmet to the point I could inspect the passages. Well, the molded in holes in the styrofoam were not over the holes drilled in the shell, so no air could get through. None at all. No wonder I could ride in 30 degree weather at 80mph and my head would still sweat.
So, I took a drill and drilled holes in the foam to match the holes in the shell. Now when I blow through the vent with the air gun, all kinds of air comes through. The amount of foam removed was minimal, so I am sure impact resistance is unaffected. If I get smacked in the fore head that hard, I won't really care anyway, you know?
Hopefully I will be more comfortable riding this year.
FWIW, its a Fulmer AF-D4. I hope AF doesn't mean "Air flow"
