  • The Greatest Compliment

I took my bike to work today & have it parked in front of the office on the main street in the little town I work in.( I usually park it in the back so no one hits it) I can see my bike from my desk through the window - Well low & behold a lady (don't know who she was) has a fancy digital camera & takes 2 pics from one side of the bike where the 4 into 1 exhast comes out & then another from the other side, then she was gone. The smile on my face was gigantic -" thats why we want them, thats why we fix them, thats why we have a 29 yr old or older bike folks. After a year of workin on this thing I feel like someone just gave me a medal. Just thought I'd send this out there as you all get it. - Dan

      Meanwhile...

she's texting the chop shop saying: "I finally found a set of the pipes we're looking for... He has to go to the bathroom at some point and we'll snag them then."

      lol

Does make you feel good, doesn't it?
you know... as long as she wasn't really working with a chop shop...

I get a grin when the little kids walking with their dads say "motorcycle!" and point as I go by. Something like that would make my whole body smile! Good for you. That's the kind of thing that makes it worth all the bloody knuckles and greasy elbows.
