                                                          Thanks for all the good wishes, guys and gals! It was a beautiful day, but I didn't take the camera

                                                          Bad news...starter clutch still no good WTF? New springs and rollers, polished the gear boss and everything looked and worked well on the bench, but it slips when I hit the button. It did work once today, though It'll spin the motor like a sonofabitch with the plugs out, but under compression it balks. I give up. Well, at least I have new main and rod bearings and from that I got and additional 20 lbs of oil pressure So I guess in the end it was all worth it taking the motor apart cause if i hadn't, I probably would have fried the crank and rods this summer

                                                          On another note, while I had the carbs off, I raised the needles one clip to try and correct a blueing issue with the exhaust. That didn't help, though, it's running way rich now, so it's one more trip into the carbs and I'll put it back the way it was. After that, stick a fork in me, I'm done
