Due to the popularity of the "Survivor" TV series, Texas is planning to do one entitled, "Survivor, Texas-style. "The nine contestants will all start in Dallas , then drive to Waco , Austin , San Antonio , over to Houston and down to Brownsville ....... They will then proceed up to Del Rio , El Paso , Midland , Odessa , Lubbock and Amarillo . From there, they will go on to Abilene , Fort Worth , and finally back to Dallas .

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with bumper stickers that read: "I'm a Democrat,"-- "I'm Gay,"-- "I love the Dixie Chicks ,"-- "Boycott Beef,"-- "I Voted for Obama,"-- " George Strait Sucks,"-- "Hillary in 2012," and "I'm Here to Confiscate your Guns." The first one to make it back to Dallas in one piece wins.....

    God Bless Texas !

No kidding! In CA, they just don't pay any attention. In TX, they go out of their way to get in your way! In CA, it's a law that you MUST move out of the fast lane (when safe) if the person behind you flashes their brights at you. In TX, they move INTO the fast lane to BLOCK you from going faster than their old pickup truck!

Yeah, I love when people have a line of cars behind them, driving 55 in a 70, side by side with someone on a two lane for miles. When you've finally had enough, after you pass them on the shoulder.. probably shaking your head like I do... then they speed up and ride your ass.

That's when it should be legal to put a couple rounds through their engine block.

You know, around here, the truckers do that ALL the time. Tow lane highway, there is a merge (you know an area where the two lanes of traffic are supposed to combine to one, right there, not ten miles back) ten miles ahead the road signs tell you about, so two trucks line up side by side and crawl so no one can be in the lane that has to merge ahead fo them.

then when you get up to the merge the one truck lets the other over, but they refuse to let anyone else merge over then, like you shouold have done that miles ago like we wanted you to. That is when I run over in the median, or grass, or where ever and blow by both trucks and if I can cut them off. Very few things get me as mad as those AH that do that.

But yeah, drive through Cincinnati during construction or rush hour and you will see all the same chit. Idiots seem to live everywhere.

Hope you all are just joking with the riding behavior! If not, sure seems that east of the Rockies must be what's in the water. May explain some of these "rider down" post, which I hate to see. Save that riding behavior for the dirt(doesn't hurt as much or as long). Way to many stationary objects to contact, besides the pavement! Maybe a few need a good moto-cross/dirt bike to go rip it wide open on instead of on the street. Street is no place to be playing those kind of games....too many varibles NOT in your favor....just sayin'. Enjoy the summer riding, and think safety and defensive riding......you'll live to ride again, and again for many seasons to come!

I remember when I was a kid I saw this movie, I think it was called the Gladiator, not with Russell Crow. This dude gets into trouble with some bad ass car gang, then fits this his old 50's pickup with razor hub caps great big steel bumpers, a roaring engine and all sorts of good ol boy road rage weapons. If you can find that movie, it'll cure you of any road rage for a little while at the end of a day in traffic.

I can't give you a description of the car or place, but there was one time I was driving my old Ford, some little prick was lane blocking, then started slamming his breaks on in front of me. So instead of breaking on about the 4th time of this I pegged it and gave him a real nice awakening with my front bumper and he ended up in the ditch. "That's how I role, F---er." I kind of figured by the shape of his car and other attributes, he was surely in poverty and just wanted a lawsuit. Got more than he bargained for. Don't think you Texas boyz are the only ones who know how to have fun.
