  • Cam chain tensioner mod

I think these might be one (two) of the required part(s) for the mod.
    Anyone out there needing one?

BE very very carefull dealing with Pinwall Cycles. They have no clue what bike they have except what someone tells them. They have more than once (well once to me) sold parts as being form one model of bike that were from something else. line XS11 parts that came off an XJ1100. So these may or may not be from a VMAX. That and I do not see the plger that actually puts tension on the cam chain. With these folks, they would sell it to you as is and then say they did not know it was missing the part, "thats how it came out of the engine". JMO.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

If you scroll further down the page you will see another pic that shows the plungers. They do look like the FJ1300 adjusters that I have installed but I agree be careful with this guy he's finding these cam adjuster a good money maker for him and the price of these things are going higher.

Still, $30 for two is a good price.

Yes I agree , but compared to $17.99 for one of the sets I bought a while ago the starting price on Ebay has gone up .

            DGXSER,

I remember that bout you had over the XJ parts. I just forgot the name of the vendor.

I'll put the name on the beware list. Thanks.

              Thanks Rodger

I appreciate the heads up on these. I'd been looking for a set at a decent price for my G and J and these fit the bill. Snagged them up right away, thanks again.
