        Gas Tank

I got one off e-bay w/ petcocks, and a key, in good shape, no dents for a total of $58.00. That included shipping.

I paid $150 from a bike junk yard for complete tank keys petcocks sending unit & acid wash inside tank. I thought it was a good deal since I had paid $100 a piece for 2 other tanks I bought that were completely worthless.

I've been quoted between $100 -$150 for a special tank. For a larger tank like yours I would expect to pay up to $50 more tops.

              Wait it out on Fleabay

and you can find one for under $50 easy. I paid $25 for a special tank with all attached in very good shape and that was including shipping. Got a final drive for $1+$15 ship same week.

You lucky dogg! I like those kind of deals, how much? twenty bucks now get it out of my garage. I got that kind of deal on my bike. $150. I've had to do some maintenance work and new boots, but for the record, up to now I haven't opened the engine anywhere and it runs pretty darned good. How hard is that final drive swap? I'm thinking of doing it to mine. I think my stock gears are a bit too short for such a powerful bike.
