    I just found this on CraigsList! YES YES YES

    Even better is, I had plans to go to Ithaca tomorrow anyways. Looks like I will pick this bad boy up for free! Or worst case $20!

    AND HE SAYS IT HAS A KERKER!!!! AM I LOSING MY MIND? PINCH ME!

                        No confirmations from the "seller" but he said he would call me today if the first person didnt want it, and...no call. I e-mailed him tonight to make sure the guy picked it up! I offered him money and he wouldnt give it to me...he must of made a verbal agreement to the first person that it was his for the taking.

                          There was someone on the XJbikes forum that brought home a free 1100 yesterday. Can't help but think it would be the same one.

                          -1982 XJ1100J - brought back from the dead by
                          replacing motor after throwing #4 rod
                          -1985 XJ750XN - shim job, oil change, ride. not bad for
                          $500 including new rear tire.

                            He's not in the Ithaca NY region is he? Whats the XJ site anyways? Maybe he'll be a new member here in a day or two. By the sounds of it, the bike needed things put back together to make it run...
