Out for a cruise today on my old bike. Nice sunshine, twisty country road, not a car in sight, what could be better? Going around a tight right hander, bike is leaned way over, starting to drift out to the center line... start rolling the throttle on, feel the rear tire starting to squirm... the bike is tracking like it is on rails... As the turn opens up, CRAP!!!! a combine coming toward me and he's got the whole road covered! Kinda makes your little heart go pitter patter don't it?

Most people probably don't know what a combine is.

Wow. I hate those things, they just look dangerous sitting there let alone coming at you on a road.
If you don't know what a combine looks like there is actually a scene from a movie called the Bounty Hunter with Steve Mcqueen in which he is chasing two hicks in a Trans-am through a cornfield with a combine. Excellent scene.

Do you want it done right or do you want me to do it?

I was out the same day, and had a deer jump the gaurd rail right in front of me. I only had time to brace for impact. At the last second it slowed down and ducked it's head. It's head hit the bottom of my foot, which was on the highway pegs. If I hadn't been braced, it would have knocked my foot off the peg, and maybe me over. It went rolling. When it started getting up, my buddy on a HD gave it a push in the rear with his front fender. No damage to either bikes or us, only soiled shorts. The only evidence of the encounter was hair on the bottom of my boot.
