i would love to find a nice trunk for on the back, that complements the lines of the bike, i have the back rest and the original windshield in storage (i made another windsheild thats shorter) but would never get rid of the original to nice to piece out.

            Hi Wulf,
Yours is a G with the accesories added. Love tha trunk.
Ikieviet36 has the H Venturer which came like that from the factory.
Note Trans Canada decal on the side of fairing and white flash on tank.
Probably replacement exhaust as it is shorter than standard.
Venturer did not have a trunk just a rack with back rest.
An excellent example you have there Ikieviet36.

I use the back rest on mine, and slide it all the way up to the driver position. Makes it a LOT more comfortable, and I feel really unsupported without it.

                    Hi Ikieviet36,
Yes the decal is unique to Canadian model H. I use the back rest for securing things to the rack. I will try it all the way forward next long trip.

                      numbers

would anybody know what kind of production numbers the venture H (Canadian edition) has. i haven't seen any other pictures with the trans canada decal on the bike, so figure it must be quite rare.

                        Hey guys,
The old man I bought this from said the fairing, lowers & sides were all factory. He had to buy the back after market..It does not match the color of all the rest..Rare color & tour package for that yr..

Actually, Tsunami is an 'H "Venturer" that still has its original, shorter mufflers that allow removing the rear axle without using a cable tool. I think Yamaha may have used the shorter muffs for the LH also, only in the much nicer, and rarer, black finish.

                                Calendar progress:
I've been SUPER busy with marching season for our high schoolers and with the birthday present for John (remember, think wood ) but I should be able to focus attention on the calendars beginning the first of November and will hopefully have them ready to go shortly after that.

Thanks to all who have sent in some really great pics!
