No, sadly, she has seen original Rocker footage, and wants to wear an orange scarf and an open face helmet!Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Dude, WOW!
She is HOT on that bike! Nicely done!
It took me a year to get Rosie finished.

Seeing that makes all the work worth it, doesn't it?Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Once we get to shifting and increasing speed, she will be wearing a helmet
Start as you mean to go on, the helmet should be on from day one.
Also the lady needs to wear riding gloves and while those high heeled boots may be OK for strutting about in they are sub-optimal when riding a bike.Fred Hill, S'toon

Bike looks awesome, and she is a cutie for sure.
I would suggest the helmet as well, figure it this way, she is at the most likely point in her riding career to go down and no matter how slow your going, your head hitting concrete or asphault does not turn out good.
The boots, well, the heels of course could leave her foot trying to get off the peg and stuck, or the process of putting them down while moving may take care fo the heel for her.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Thanks for sharing the excitement with me! It was a really good day, even though she did drop it once (no damage to her or the bike, she was stopped).
She does normally ride with a helmet, but as she has never driven before, it would have been a little much to communicate everything, instruct, and watch all the controls with the helmet on. Now that she has had the intro, it will be going back on. She had forgotten her gloves at home, but those will be standard operating procedure as well.
As soon as the roads dry out a little more, we will be doing another lesson (So I can get out of the garage to the parking lot, I mean. She is not ready for the open road just yet). She is very excited now, which is great!Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Send her through the MSF course. Even with you teaching her, it will work better if she is forced to read it and learn in the steps they teach it in. JMOLife is what happens while your planning everything else!

Those boots have to go though. They would not be legal for taking the MSF course.
Very quick turn-around on that bike! The paint is really nice too. Interesting use of snaps for the seat cover! Be careful with corrosion ruining the paint around them though.1980 XS850SG - Sold

+2 to that! The MSF guys are trained to impart bike knowledge in an ordered and sensible way where the average person is not.
Additionally, it is extremely difficult to teach anything to a person who is near and dear to you without it ending in a blazing row.
