Disappointed and not impressed with the way we played. WAY TOO MANY PENALTIES. Too much passing not enough shooting. The penalties likely cost us the game.

Geez, we had friends over for dinner, so put the PVR on pause at 2-1 while we ate. Got a call from a friend when it went to 2-2. Came back after desert to find the recording all scrambled and impossible to watch. My niece checks on her iPod and gives up the bad news. WTF - this is supposed to be our game!

Great goaltending by Miller. It also seemed that the Canadians were a bit overconfident; the US players just looked hungrier.

Out shot or not we did not put the puck to the net often enough. I saw too much passing. Even in the last 5 min of the game, too much passing instead of taking the shots at the net. So many goals in hockey are the end result of the outcome of taking a shot that the more shots you take at the net, the better the chances that the puck will end up in the net one way or another.
In any case the US played a excellent game and for their effort they won the game. Our next game of concern will be against RUSSIA ...
