Thanks to all the well wishers, but for the record it's PROM that's just turned,
5-0, like sour milk! I've passed that mark a couple of years ago...so I'm just sliding down that ever steepening slope we call MIDDLE AGE!
I'm glad to see a RETURN of PROM, even if it may be just a short visit.
I had to work today, but wasn't too hard, had a nice family dinner outing at Outback. Since I've lived sooooo long, I've already acquired most of the mundane worldly possessions I care to have. But a nice present was hearing about my little sister finally having her first and probably only child at 35 y/o, a little healthy girl, so I'm an UNCLE again....but no MONKEY's in the family tree! That wasn't a racial slur; referring to the old phrase "a monkey's uncle", for all of you whippersnappers too young to be familiar with that term!
As for the accolades for the site, I don't deserve them, there are MANY folks involved in the maintaining of the site, I'm just the figurehead!
Now let's get out there and POST more on PROM's thread!
And don't forget Steppenwolf either, another regular!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
I've been riding since 1959.
Hope your entire year is good. How old is Godzilla (in Big lizard years)? You have been an inspiration to me. Thinking now of custom windshield now.
Hope to ride with you again soon; XSeast, TWO...
It is a great big beautiful world out there
