    UPDATE!

The Photo gallery is toast. I still have all the photos, but when the host upgraded the server recently, it killed the gallery.

    It's dead Jim.

I will be migrating the photos to a forum based gallery when I do the next update, likely late April or early May.

    Sorry for the trouble,
    Wes

Right now you only have 2 files in there for a total of 390k or so. Maybe the file you're adding is too big?

It's really best to resize the images you upload to 640x480 before uploading them. The gallery will resize the images but will not reduce the filesize, so a larger image will eat up space without any real benefit.

A decent 640x480 pic shouldn't take up more than 50-75k.

I have now synched all the new users into the gallery as well. If you get an error when you first go to the gallery, just refresh the page and all should be well.

Soon, this gallery will be no more......

Yeah, since the host migrated to the new server, the gallery is hosed now. The pics are all still intact, but the gallery as it is will likely never work again.

I posted this right before the change...guess I oughta change it.

I will be migrating the photos to the forum based gallery when I do the next update. Likely in a month or so.

Thanks for all the hard work and keeping this stuff up to date and working Wes!! It is alot of work and I am glad you do it.

XS11 is my version of Heroin, I'd be lost without it. Whenever you get to the photogallery is fine by me, it is icing on the cake in my opinion.

                    Non-Photogenic Issues.

                    JW,

I wouldn't mind losing the photo I have in the gallery: Makes me look fat and I don't like that silly grin plastered on my face. Bike looks ok though.

Can you make my nose look any smaller in the upgraded gallery?

                    That'd really be an improvement.

                        Someone should

set up a paint shop or the like and redo photo to the owner instructions on changing body weight, hair color, or just add hair? and facial features. Guy could make a buck or two but no one would recognize anyone at rallies. "That you Todd? your photo makes you look 19." We would have to wear name tags!!!

Since we would be leaving the bikes alone, you would have to identify people by the bike the rode in on.

Is this the same as the "Bike Photo's" thread started by Hobbyman? Say it ain't so Jim!
I haven't visited the site in a while and I'm looking for it to get ideas for my bike. Lotsa nice bikes there.

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike.
