What is this all about?

Is this sanctioned by XS11.com?, who is Cliff Edwards?, and I haven't been on this forum in a long time, so what is this all about?

It could be worse than spam, you could unknowingly be inviting a worm into your computer, who's sole purpose is to rip you off.

What I want to know is why and how this is being addressed to and from the XS11 site?
Since I don't know the moderators or admin. staff, this was the fastest way to address the issue, and to warn the members.
The Edwards name isn't on the members list and 3 of the other listed names are new. I haven't been signed-in on the site since 7-2008.

It was a spammer, your email is stored as part of your registration, and UNLESS you specify when you register, emails can be sent by other MEMBERs. That spammer has been removed, banned, etc.! We try, but we're not perfect! It's a dangerous world out there!

The spam links still show up in the posts, such as above. That's probably not a good thing, someone might unknowingly click on one of them.
