    Eehhh

It ain't that bad here in Tulsa.

We got about 1/4" of ice on thursday and then about 4"-6" of snow on top of that on friday.

The lights flickered at the shop 2 or 3 times but never actually went out, no problems at home.

It was pretty slick driving for a while but they were pretty much right on it with the plows and sand/salt.

I grew up around this stuff up in Montana though so it never seems bad to me. I've spent MONTHS in way worse conditions than this.

Besides.......I have a 4x4 it's kinda nice to get to play once in a while.

Here in Pa we had a high of 27 and a low of 8 on Saturday. This is following a flood on thursday that put 4 ft of water in my mom's cabin. You know who gets to clean it up. I burned the wood burner from 12 to 5 and it only started to melt the inch of mud and ice on the floor.....I don't think it will get done until the spring thaw.
On a bright note, I put a new exhaust on the copper chopper and the project 79 11 special is going along quickly. I should be done in March!

Damn, Ben! I was just complaining about the NE weather last week and how I'd like to move to a warmer climate, but it's beginning to look like there's no escape.

We're due for some more white stuff tomorrow

            Talk about a suprize!

Yesterday got to 40 f. I am selling one of my cars, so I started a wash job in the driveway with cold water in th hose and very warm water in the bucket. I washed and rinsed the drivers side and started on the pass. side. The bucket of soap and water was standing by the drivers side door and I innocently walked around the front to get the bucket and zip, down I went into a semi splits position rolled over to my right, right over my right thumb and sprained the crap out of it and tore something in my shoulder and back. The d**m concrete had a surface temp low enough to freeze the rinse water into a thin sheet of ice. I got up and finished the job got the car into the heated garage and called it a day. Really sore today.
            Ole one thumb Jack

Holy cow! And here, I was celebrating how warm it was by taking a 200-mile ride up to Hannibal for a motorcycle swap meet on Saturday. I saw a total of 2 other bikes on the road during the entire trip, and one was in my own neighborhood. Not a single other bike at the Swap meet either!
