Geez, I can't even play my Xbox 360 for a couple of hours during the Blizzard of 2010 here in Virginia without the site going to hell in a handbasket!!

FYI, that SPAMMER had actually registered back in the middle of Dec, 2009, and was a SLEEPER! Then he posted a barrage attack! But fortunately the site has tools...was able to bring up his username, list ALL threads started by him, and select them ALL and DELETE them all in one felled swoop!

Then I went to the ADMIN side, added his IP addy(s), yes, 2 of them, from FINLAND actually, and permanently blocked them from the site. While I was at it, I reviewed the other 3 spammers that had recently been banned, also added their IP's to the growing banned list...they were in such places as
Estonia, Minsk Belarus, CHINA, FrankFurt Germany!

Twas but a few hours of exposure to the site. All anybody has to do as what was done in this case was to REPORT the post/thread, EMAILS get sent to ALL MODS/ADMINS, and once we receive them, we can then review and act upon them.

Now, what was that URL in that spammed post.....

Now to get back to fraggin' some more NAZI's in MOH Airborne!

I thought that the easiest/best way to handle a spammer post was to report it.

At the top of every post is a yellow bar. The left side tells when it was posted. At the right side of the bar is the number of the post in the thread.

If you are logged in as a member then a red triangle with an exclamation point inside appears to the right of the post number. If you click on that triangle then the site takes you to a REPORT page where you can compose a brief message which goes directly to the powers that be.

If you're not logged in as a member the red triangle does not appear.

Luckily for us, TC gets a certain amount of satisfaction when he fraggs virtual bad guys and real no goodniks.

Bonus points for Headshots???
