Just an Update on the Rash of Spammers!
Hey Folks,
Just an FYI...we've been being bombarded by lots of spammers from places like Latvia, Ukraine, PI, etc.! There are hundreds of IP's out there, I've been trying to isolate and ban wider ranges of IPs from those places, but they are difficult to narrow down. And some are spoofing USA places like NY, Texas and such with their registrations, and so I can't ban those IP's otherwise would end up banning OUR real members!
Again, thanks for your efforts, and I'll keep trying to catch and add the offending IP's to the everincreasing block/banned IP list!
So...as many of you have been doing, if you see a Spam post...Please do NOT reply to it, just REPORT it, and one of us Mods will get to it and delete it and flush the spammer, and hopefully block his IP range!
