And just think about all that water you drink. The fish pee, poop, and spawn in it. Seriously though, as the Master of a Grange, i see the good that it does, and what it offers to the community it is in. People just don't seem to see the value in helping out their community. I donate the building for community meetings, and for Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, and to 4H and FFA students to raise sheep for our county fair auction. The Grange also started the FFA. You no longer have to be a member to get Grange insurance. You should check it out. Most of our members are 80 plus, and don't attend meetings, but pay their dues every year. We have one 92 year old member that attends our meetings, and travels back and forth to Canada to see his girl friend. (What the H--- do they do?)

as a mere 72 year-old, I'd suppose they do the same thing as younger folks but perhaps not as often?Fred Hill, S'toon
