  • WA members?

just curious.... how members do we have in Washington state? I am in Ocean Shores. Next week is the HOG convention out here... town will be full of bikes... i was thinking that all of us Washington types could try to put a ride together someday... just a thought.

Quite a few, more than a dozen, maybe way more. From Spokane to Vancouver, Yakima, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Federal Way, Sequim, Port Angeles, Ocean Shores ( ) etc

And there are many in the Portland area...

Check out Denny's web site for his rally this August. I hope a lot of new faces and bikes show up!

I'm one of the Portland members planning to be at Denny's next month.

My doc told me to stay off bikes of month (whacked my head while river rafting) but I'll hope to be ready to ride before then.

Geezer, you gotta change doctors! I whacked my head on a raft, it slid off the car top. Doctor told me I should stay off the water, and stay on land. So I took up bike riding...

Actually I fell out of the raft and hit my forehead on a rock. I ended up with a lump on my forehead, 2 black eyes and a mild concussion.

The bruises are all healed and the lump is almost gone but I still have dizzy spells once in a while and I seem to be sleeping a lot more than normal. It’s all getting better but I don’t expect to be riding for another 2 weeks. And they say motorcycle riding is dangerous...

Geezer, do you remember the good old days when motorcyles were dangerous and sex was safe?

                  Washington Members

                  Say !
I live in Washington State (but I'm not from here)
I have an '80 SG...the Wife lives in Washington State (she's not from here either) and she has a '79 SF (almost).
The 64K question is "are we two seperate members" or just one "family" of members ?
Kinda makes one wish he HAD hit his head on a rock
The only times that I can remember Sex being safe and Motorcycles being dangerous... was when Sex was only in your dreams...and your motorcycle was a Suzuki.
Fortunately for me, I had alot of one and none of the other.
                  I always rode Yamahas
We are goin to try'n make the August Run...I'm still tryin' to wean her off that danged 'ol H**da CB750 K5.
And she is still learnin the "shaft drive snap" +30 HP.
Maybe she'll get tired of lookin at the back of my luggage and want to "keep up" with a REAL motorcycle
Her Biggest complaint when we ride together is (guess)...
MY biggest complaint when we ride together is (guess)
YEP...that's it (and I know what you're gonna say)
Why don't I ride the CB 750 and put HER on the SG...
Let me put it this way...If I was on a Briggs-N-Stratton 1/2 hp MINI Bike and she was on a CYBZ 2000...and she left on Monday, and I on Thursday...I would still have to wait for her when I got there
Besides she can't maneuver the SG ('cause of the bags) in tight spots + it's hard for her to back up (to heavy)
So I just keep it in second gear and...hope...I guess
Count us any way you'd like...just don't count us out!!!
