Hello, !!
I tried to join this group several times in the past...I would send E-mails, fill out E-forms...but it never " seemed to work"
Then one day I drove from my Home in WA. State to Montana to "adopt" another Child (a '79 SF).
While I was discussing the vagaries of being the "parent" of such an "unruly child" (my '80 SG) with the person I was purchasing the '79 SF from...he asked me "have you joined the XS-XJ 1100 Owners Group?"
I told him my story...and he informed me that although the group had expierenced trouble in the past...it was going strong as ever!
So I put the newest addition to the family in the truck, and headed home.
When I arrived home I told the wife about the "GROUP" being alive & kicking.
So I tried again to join...and it didn't work!!
I figured that it "had to be me" (it was) so I made several indecent proposals to the Hierarchy...even offered to give them "all my money"...and then guess what happened
They let me join!!!
And to this very day...I do NOT know how that happened!
One day I saw an E-mail on my computer...when I read it, I found it was the final instructions on how to "complete my membership"
So now you'all got me...for better or worse!!
OH yea...buy the way...the wife says she wants to join now too... but she says she aint givin you all HER money, unless you let her be the President (she DOES have more money than me!)
I'm just glad to be a Member!
