All the posts in the hot button forum shouldn't apply to ones guru status. There is nothing motorcycle related in that forum, but people keep the fluffing up the post count. How many meaningful posts do you have that are bike related. Will anybody even remember come tomorrow? Does anybody know who was the first non administrator to reach 1000 posts? 5000 posts? I doubt it.

Ya know John I wouldn't really care if my count was taken back down to zero because that really isn't why I'm here.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do.

It's not like I get a bigger paycheck with a GURU status, I just means I enjoy the chit chat and comraderie of this site.

With a few exeptions I enjoy just getting on here and talking to the people. I don't know much about these bikes other than what I have learned here and from personal experience in the last year since I have owned it so when I've tried to help I've usually been wrong but I'm learning thanks to the people here I chat with. Kat being one of my favorites.

BTY I don't remember hearing anything from you when I had a bike related question. Did I?

Can you say that every one of your 5000+ posts has been bike related?

maybe i shouldn't open my big mouth, but first, congrats, and second, i come here on almost an hourly regularity. my wife hates it. i come here because it is fun to be part of a community of people that have a similar interest. every post i read, i usually learn something....albeit something trival most times, but something. j o t d comes to mind. now mabye that doesn't belong in the members section (i think it does, but i know others disagree) but when i was pissed, traveling for work, missing my family and bored and half drunk in a hotel room, that thread was a welcome relief. i laughed my ass off. so goes for MOST IF NOT all of okies posts. total fluff, mostly hilarious, and not bike related. i don't think anyone on here would EVER listen to what he had to say about the bikes (just kidding, i am sure you know where the gas goes or something) but nonetheless he is part (for better or for worse) of this site. there it is. now, i am ready to get on and ride....but my dumb a$$ didn't put the battery on the charge and left it sit for 3 weeks cause i was gonna tear it apart. now the damn thing won't start. so here i am looking for some laughs and a way to pass the time. don't know if this post will count toward my total, but there it is.

Dammit Ray, now your profiling okies. That may be insulting to some of them, kinda like "one nation under god" is to some people.

I'm not just full of it, I'm completely full of sh*t. I know John is aware of this and hopefully everyone else is aware of that also.

I understand California is completely full of fruits and nuts. Do either of these describe your condition?
