  • Going to Sun Diego for a weekend!

SWMBO and I will be in Sun Diego January 21 through January 24. Friday the 22nd we plan on being at the Zoo, but I am looking to meet up with some of the local owners on the 23rd. My cell number is in my "signature"(location), so give me a call if you are free some time Saturday! If you have a spare bike and helmet, we could even go for a ride!

If the parts are all together, it may be doable! I'd like to meet up for a beverage Saturday if your available. SWMBO and I don't have much for plans, and wouldn't mind finding a good, reasonable priced place to eat. We can talk about LoHo, and the June get together!

Well, the flight is supposed to leave at 3:00pm, so we'll see. Looks like Sunday morning would be a good time for a ride, and maybe Friday late afternoon or early evening we could meet up for refreshments. I'm getting a GPS with the rental car, so I should be able to find my way around.

                Thinking

of making a San Diego run this weekend now that I'm back from Arizona and all pending bike repairs are all finished. I'll have to gauge the rain and the stupid cage monkey tricks but the bike's running great and I'm not made out of sugar.

                Regards,

                Scott

                  Scott,
Good to see you're back. Thought maybe you were doing 3 to 5 for illegal sidewalk motorcycle repairs.

Good to see you, too, Rodger! The CHP saved my life that day. There were almost 3 to 5 of me there on the sidewalk so I have spent a considerable amount of time ensuring that will not happen again. Besides, languid Arizona days with a cute blond and her troubles with a classic early '60s Ford van are better than a leprous and homicidal XS with Alzheimer's.

                    Time for a ride!

                      Well,
we are now in San Diego, looking for a place nearby for dinner! The hotel is nice (SWMBO chose it!) Marriott Courtyard on hotel circle. Now if I could find a REAL food place without paying $60 for two people, I'd be happy!
We will probably go out to Temecula for wine tasting Friday, and do the Zoo on Saturday. So Friday or Saturday evenings will work out for a get together, and Sunday morning if the weather gods are correct we MAY get a ride in!

                        Hi Ray,,,

                        >
Hi Ray,,,I think friday is going to rain all day, but clears up saturday. For Sunday,, I am running in a marathon, so will probably be dead tired, but you can swing by and pick up a bike,,,xs1100, or xj1100 or xj750 or an xs750, whatever works for you. Garth is real close to the airport so maybe give him a ring and you guys can ride up here and pickup a bike. I can ride sat. afternoon, but sunday is going to be tough. Lots of places to ride, I live by Palomar mountain and a couple of casino's if you like good buffets,,,,Harrah's and a couple of others. SO, hope the trip is good and I will give Garth a call and see what his plans are also. Garth is about 10 minutes to the airport area, and I am about 1 hour north. The weekend looks really nice for riding, if you want to look up addresses, Garth is in Pacific Beach off Garnet St. and I am at 27364 Kiavo Drive, Valley Center, 92082. Take Care, Mike, Soccer4m, at 7605258565-cell, Garth is 1582489490-cell.
