  • Did you know Plexxus Freezes?

I keep 2 cans of Plexxus on my bike. One is the larger, aerosol version, and the other is the tiny pump version. I went out to warm up the bike this morning for the first time in over a week, and decided that the windshield was a bit dirty. So, I pulled out the larger can and a towel, and much to my dismay, nothing came out of it! So, I thought, maybe it just ran empty. I got out the tiny bottle, and it was solid as a rock! No liquid in it at all...

I decided to ride anyway, and put the tiny bottle in my pocket, and left the larger one indoors. Sure enough, an hour or so later, the pump worked again! I went home for lunch, and found that the aerosol can worked fine too. I would not have thought that something that was full of alcohol would have frozen like that. I'm just glad the can didn't explode in my fairing pocket!

    Wow, Bug...

Hadn't even thought about that one!

Thanks for the info... I bet mine's frozen, too!

Good to know it'll work again if it thaws, though!

    That stuff's not cheap!

Like the way it works, though!

Just put off cleaning yours while he is around and pretty soon he will be over there polishing it for you. He can't help himself.

          Very true, Harry!

We all do know him pretty well, don't we?

He's done that very thing for my bike!

(But I do believe it's really because he's a great guy that he does that... not just compulsion... and a core hatred of dirt & grime! HeHe...)
