They have one of those sitting in Gatlinburg, TN..(same one?)

After sitting on it for a few minutes, I think I'd prefer to stick with something else..

I think the only thing I'd seriously trade my XS for is another 1956 Ford F100 (my 1st vehicle when I turned 16). Sold it long ago and been sorry ever since.

My first vehicle was also a '56 F100...panel truck. It had been a Sears repair truck. Loved it 'til someone creamed it while it was parked. Replaced it with a similar '55. That one had overdrive, but was a 6 volt system, I think. Those trucks had style!

                No, I wouldn't trade!

Funny thing - before I got bitten by the XS11 bug, whenever I went bike window shopping - I would look at what I would exchange my bike for - but since I've had my XS11 -and btw, I'm on my fourth one - I just start figuring where I would store 2 bikes, how much time for each, etc You trade your XS11 -you just get some accompanying toys!
                Cheers,

                  TRADE? no way

But then, more than one, that's another story.

Now that my XJ is decked out for camping and touring, it's
been getting equal riding time with my Bandit, and I can't
see doing without either of them.

As the batcycle would probably bring a higher $$ on the market, I'll trade for it, sell it, and buy 2 xs11's, 1 special, 1 full tour standard! Eh?!

                          Bandit or VMax?

One of my best friends has a gorgeous VMax.

You can't really go wrong either way, but, the
Bandit is so much lighter, turns goes and stops
                          in such a great way...

1/4 mile times/speeds are similar for similar
levels of stock/modified. Twisties? Same rider
can go and stop better on the Bandit. Better
rider on Mr Max will toast the inferior rider on
                          the Bandit.

But no denying the raw muscle-bike look
of Mr Max, nothin' like it.
