The original poster of this thread, and another about car racing was just a SPAMMER from INDIA!!! He's gone, but Ivan and a few others posted some rather lengthy replies, I didn't have the heart to delete the entire thread, so I copied the real replies into this new one, so I could delete the original poster's first reply and eventually his username!
I now return you to your regularly scheduled philosophy discussion!

What do "I" think?

Depends on what your definition of the "world" is? The World, as in the Earth won't end for some few more billion years, until the SUN starts burning up it's hydrogen, and then it swells to a red giant, and devours Mercury and the Earth in the process!
The "world", as in mankind's....also depends on whether we ever eventually blow ourselves up with our rediculous nuclear arsenol. Or....the global warming "preachers" are correct, and we turn ourselves into another Mercury with extreme greenhouse effect, killing off the basis of the food chain, and so eventually mankind. Or we genetically engineer ourselves into extinction with a virus like ebola!?
Like Ivan, "my" world will hopefully go on another 40+ years....hopefully, but only if I'm in decent health and mind. I, too, have not been terribly impressed with "christians" and organized religion, many being just hyprocrites or scam artists, etc.! I watch the ghost hunter shows, and that has peeked my interest, but I don't have much faith in "FAITH" itself, don't know if I really have a soul and for the most part, don't really care! I consider myself an Agnostic with atheisist tendencies!
I follow the "golden rule", and society's laws for the most part, but similar to the Walmart thread in the other forum, I won't see the inside of a church, unless it's one that's a few thousand years old in Italy when I finally get to take a vacation there as a tourist...not to worship!
