Yeah....That's the airport/weather code for it. I'm about a 1/2 hour SW of town just across the SC border.

Not XS but it IS in the spirit of what I'd like to build.

This is the coolest Hardley I have ever seen!

You're right...that's why I didn't keep the listing current. It would take a special person to buy a bike like this anyway...if the right person wanted it (I don't even know what that means) I'd let them have it all pretty cheap 'cause it hasn't been ridden much since I bought the V-Strom.

I guess if I knew it was going to somebody interested in preserving the breed....

    Hi,
I've been to Cali several times but sadly never on a bike. You do have a number of "must rides" that I hope to cross off my bucket list.

I went through some of my videos and decided to put these 3 up on youtube.

This 1st video was taken on the South end of NC80 climbing to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this road gets better and better the higher you climb.
I had the camera mounted low on the left crashbar.

This next video was taken the same day with the same mount farther North on NC80 and I'm trying to keep up with an FZ1.

In case you happen to be a glutton for this type of punishment.....this next clip was taken on a little road to nowhere up on the TN side of the Smokies. This section is so tight that I had very few opportunities to get the big XS11 out of 2nd gear, I also left a good bit of running board metal up on those hills.
This time the camera was mounted high on the handlebars.

    Thanks guys.

Can you embed videos on this board?

    <object width="400" height="302"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2698230&amp;server=vimeo.com &amp;show_title=1&amp;show_byline=1&amp;show_portr ait=0&amp;color=00ADEF&amp;fullscreen=1" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2698230&amp;server=vimeo.com &amp;show_title=1&amp;show_byline=1&amp;show_portr ait=0&amp;color=00ADEF&amp;fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="302"></embed></object><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/2698230">NC 80 to BRP</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user1104365">Kenny Banjo</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

Didn't work...try to CLICK HERE does that work?

Is there a site specific code for embedding videos?

    <embed id=VideoPlayback src=http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=1242706790590517607&hl=en&f s=true style=width:400px;height:326px allowFullScreen=true allowScriptAccess=always type=application/x-shockwave-flash> </embed>

    ..try clicking HERE

I know on stromtrooper they have a special code for youtube

...and on klrworld you just put the link in your post with no code at all.

    started a topic "The Pig"

    "The Pig"

That is what my friends dubbed my old XS11 many years ago.

It has been my faithful companion since 1990, many, many miles and many great trips later "the pig" is still going strong.

Hi, I just learned a new pic trick and needed a place to post.

BTW...how long has this forum been here?

I learned some valuable tech info on this site a few years ago but didn't notice the forum until it was pointed out to me by another XS11 rider on another board.

While I'm at it here's a few more pics.

So far "The Pig" has been to 45 states, 2 provinces and the Mexican border.

If you click the "banjo rides" link in my sig line, ride #s 1,2,9,15,18,25,27 were taken on this bike.

I actually thought about selling it this past year but didn't pursue it seriously, but you can CLICK HERE to see an album of pics I compiled for the CL ad that includes all the junk I've accumulated to go with it.
Working...
