Security Alert!

I just received an XS11.COM message notification for a message that may have a virus. I checked the forum and it appears the message didn't reach the board. At my end, the attatchments were filtered out by RoadRunner. Here's the text of the alert message.

ALERT!!!
This e-mail in its original form contained one or more attached files that were infected with a virus or worm, or contained another type of security threat.

The following attachments were deleted due to an inability to clean them:
1. sp15082.exe.pif: W32.Bugbear.B.Dam

One would think that by now everyone out there would be using some sort of virus protection. It is just about MANDATORY nowadays. If someone isn't... they are asking for a whole buncha trouble.
If something were to happen to the unbelievable wealth of information available here on the sight....Unthinkable.

UPDATE UPDATE AND REUPDATE YOUR ANTI VIRUS PROGRAMS GUYS...PLEASE?!!!

I use an auto update Norton that has caught the bugbear several times, in emails not associated with xs11. It is a required thing to have, nowadays

Hey gang, both of those virus' are email based and aren't off the messege board. One thing you must do though once you get Bugbear you NEED to go to Symantec's home page and download the fix for it.
