    Motorcycle Classics

I just got the new issue of Motorcycle Classics (Jan./Feb. 2010). It features a 5 page spread on the 1978 XS1100! This site is listed as a reference.

        good read but...

anyone know who owner Joe is?

He appears to have a nearly flawless 78 standard with a mere 6870 miles on the clock. I think he needs me to stop by and borrow it for a few weeks to get it to the first tire change for him

Does anyone know if anyone carries the mag? I would like a subscription, but don't want to wait 12 weeks to read this article.

I have seen it at Barnes and Noble, but typically you have to look close as there is usually only 1 or most 2 copies. It is the Jan/Feb copy so might not be there yet.

I got my copy at the local Kroger ( a grocery store ). the wife bought me one a few years ago when I was laid up, I must have read that one a dozen times, I've been keeping my eyes open for one, may haps this time, I'll actually buy a subscription, it is after all one of my favorite magazines (especially now ) anyway, check your local big chain grocer that has a large periodical section, or maybe the library. have a nice day and ride safe

Picked up a copy at B & N last Sun.Good article but less enthusiastic than I anticipated I think this publication is more interested in euro rides and I don't think Japanese bikes get a fair shake in this magazine.Even so I still buy every issue and read cover to cover.I do think they did a good write up on the RD350.But I think they are a bit jealous of the XS11 because it destroys the euro competition.IMHO
