          It is a French Moto Martin frame for a Yamaha XS1100. A chain drive was included in the sale in those days. Moto Martin built frame kits starting mid 70's and ended mid 80's with the start of the factory alu frames. Although George Martin himself still builds frames on request. Only a few XS1100 kits have been built. This is how they look coming from the factory (pics nicked from the German FRW site):
