The one on the right looks like it might slip into a megaphone type muffler with minimal fuss. Would add tunability of the exhaust, and possibly turn a low end Mac into something desirable.

What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with this?

That might work if it's 4", but it would need a tube in front of it or it probably won't sound that great. I'm running the one below, and it has nice core with many holes in front of the plates. Sounds real nice.

I was thinking about adding some of them to my Jardines to see if I can tune them a bit more. Seems a little flat around 4K.
I have to figure how to get the bottom ring welded in.

I have Jardines as well, and was thinking about just using some pop rivets to hold it in, kinda like the stock baffle, but use a couple more.

If I don't wear ear plugs on a long ride, the exhaust will leave my head ringing the next day.
I measured my megaphones, and they are just over 4 inches ID. They do sell 4" diffusers and end caps.

Riveting may be a good solution, but I wonder if it would hold up to the vibration.

I am considering having the pipes ceramic coated because the chrome is not so great. In that case a welded base plate may be the way to go.

It is a very good picture of some very good pipes, it would be a pleasure to have it in our bikes. I haven't had any experience with this until now but would love to have some. It would just complement the beauty of the bike. I would love to have some more pictures like these ones. Thanks for the post with some good pictures.

That would be awesome to get a mac to sound like a supertrapp.
That is the best sounding pipe on an XS IMHO.Even better than
              a kerker.
