  • how many XS1100 do you own?

    Just wondering how many bikes do we own ? I have technically 3, a 78, a 79f , and a 80g parts bike with a title!

    Just the two. Probably never more than two, but may be a revolving door on the one. It will be around until spring when prices go up around here. Give me time to finish the last few things and polish her up.

    Like the next one to be std just because I have not owned one yet. Who knows.

      Four

      Four... 1 78E, 79F 2 79sf's. In the market for 80 MNS to complete my collection. I will probably sell the "Ghost Rider" project when I am done. I have all the parts just need to complete the powder coating and engine/tranny inspection and put her back together. Will post some pics as I progress.

            I have five.1-78E xs1100,1-80 xs850 standard,1-80 xs850 special,1-79 xs750 standard(just dismantled for parts),1/2-77 xs750 standard(dismantled for parts,this bike was wrecked)
            I didn't intend on having this many xs's,it just happens......

                5: 79 Special (daily ride), 79 Standard (project), 80 Standard (project), 80 Special (parts bike) and a 79 Standard (parts bike). They all have titles.

                      Bikes

                      I have 5, 1-78E, 1-79F no title, 1-80SG, 2-82XJ'S ride one other is parts bike. Am going to look at one from an estates sale, they just said that is was a XS1100 full dresser. They don't know what year or model. So that will make me 6 of them when i get it. I hope it is an 81 so that i will have one of each year.

                        While I own or they own me,

                        two, one is sorta a parts bike. But I hope to pick up a third to use as sorta parts bike for the second. Then a forth to use as sorta a parts bike for........
                        well you get the idea.

                          I voted as having one, although mine is an XJ. I do have an XS but it is a 750 triple.

                          -1978 XS750SF - brought back from the dead with carb
                          triple clean and boots
                          -1982 XJ1100J - brought back from the dead by
                          replacing motor after throwing #4 rod
                          -1985 XJ750XN - shim job, oil change, ride. not bad for
                          $500 including new rear tire.

                            Only one right now. I have been looking around for a
                            Standard. Supposed to look at a dressed out '78 this
                            Saturday.
