  • Whatever happened to?

Back to this XS group after 10 years away and I see very few of the oldies from 1997-2000. Just curious as to whatever happened to JP Honeywell (seems that he was one of the key guys back then), Steve Pratel, Dick from Batavia, NY.

Also, I don't see a complete member directory. Am I missing something?

      Welcome back

Boy those names are a blast from the past...

Not sure about the other two... but JP formed this group and has since kind of moved on to bigger and better things... I think he checks in from time to time... but has left it pretty much to TC and JWSanders to run now...

        Steve Pratel

Steve joined the army as a chaplain back in the early 2000s and done a tour in Iraq. Met up with him here in NVA when he was stationed at Ft Myer. We did some local riding. He moved on about two years ago, whereabouts unknown.

If anyone has access to Army Online they could probably track him down.

          Others

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. There was at least one other rider I've wondered about but his name escapes me. I'm thinking he was from South Africa and he used to like to "stir the pot" with controversial subjects. Back in the day the forum leaders were always trying to keep us "on subject" (didn't have a special forum for those things back then).

You're thinking of Smitty (Maans Smit)!

Haven't heard from him in quite a while...

              You nailed it

Yes, Smitty! Thanks for filling in the blanks for me Ken. By the way, yours is one of the few names I remember as well.

I would never have imagined that there would be that much turnover in the span of 9-10 years.

Happy, blessed and safe Thanksgiving to all!

JP still OWNS this site, pays for it's existence and upkeep. I'm merely just one of the caretakers here, along with the very capable MODS that assist in the maintanence here.(thankyou all!)

Several of the older holdouts that didn't want to join this site stayed on Yahoo, created the XS11plus2 group, and another fellow created a tech version ALLXS11's yahoo group as well. They talk on there in Digest email mode.
