      They want a hefty $1100 for it, as far as I know it runs, it still has a valid inspection on it. Im trying to get more info out of the guy, I dont see any nasty gas varnish all over the trans so maybe its all in good working condition. I might take a trip next week to look at it, money is tight so Im in no rush yet!

          Looks pretty good for the money.

          I'd take a test ride and be sure to hammer on 1st and second to check for the gear issue. When I bought Thunderstruck I had read on here about the problem but did not diagnose it becuase I went to easy on her for the test ride. Only took a month or less to find it though.

          BTW, I spent very slightly less than that for Thunderstruck. My first post on here has pictures of how she came home. I'm convinced I got a pretty god deal on it, and I am very pesimistic about such things.

            I would sell the wife for that but would come up a whole bunch short. Seriously, I would buy it for that and never give it a thought. Gofer it!!!!!!

                  Hmmmm--- I'll reserve any derrogatory comments about the the "F" gender. Believe me I have some!

                  THAT trap will slowly close and you won't be able to even wiggle.

                    Tell her that your worried one day she will get smart enough to realize you do not deserve her and take half your stuff with her, you need to have one good motorcycle when that happens because loosing her would devestate you so badly, so your preparing to split them with her.

                          Just remember this one easy rule;

                          "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission"

                          Now go buy the damn bike before someone else does!!
