An aeroplane had to be diverted and a passenger was arrested after he stole some beer and then tried to flush the evidence down the in-flight toilet.
The flight, an Air Canada Jazz flight from Vancouver to Fort McMurray, had to be had to be diverted to the city of Kelowna after the man tried to flush a number of empty beer cans down the toilet, after he stole them from the drinks trolley.
Police arrested the man on landing, and also interviewed two other passengers, who weren't charged.
Now I know that Fred, an engineer, would be outraged at the abuse of the toliet, a very high tech piece of gear!
