    Which seat?

This one or this one I cant decide which one to get for my xs11, Is there any advantage to one over the other, besides taste?

Depends on what it's going onto. The squarish one suits a Standard while the roundish one suits a Special.

            Good gosh,

A ride on either would change your bat and balls to limp bacon and scrambled eggs!

Even though they are only a inch or so thick, most are made of space age foam and are really pretty comfortable. It's not they amount of padding that makes them comfortable, it's the quality.

                Sorry,

They must be building them smaller nowdays. I personally would NOT ride one. Something has to compress to absorb the bustin impacts and I would rather it be the seat. With the tank shape you have the family jewels between a rock and a hard place. You don't fool anybody because when you get off everyone sees the pain in your eyes.

I don't like either of them, what is that hump for anyway. To store your lunch? I do like the second bike though. I'm nuts when it comes to seats. I've had a pile and made some too. The ugly seat selection for xs's sucks. If I started production on a good looking updated smaller seat for an xs11 would any of you buy it?

I have to agree with Fred. I think square with a standard and round with a special.

Cafe bikes are not reputed for long distance comfort. They only get comfortable from about 80 mph up to the TON! and beyond!
Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That seat hump is designed to keep you tucked into position under hard acceleration, otherwise you could side back far enough to lose control of the bike. Not a good thing to happen when cresting a raise at 100 plus.
