Here is the 6 pages of instructions that came with the Spirit Eagle sidecar when it was new and were included when we bought it last year.
The set-up instructions are good but IMHO the attachment design should be in a "How NOT to" manual.
The struts all attach to the sidecar frame with friction clamps
And to the same frame rail besides which allows them to slip around under load.
The struts all attach directly to the bike with strap clamps rather than to subframes that bridge across two or more frame tubes.
The diagonal struts do NOT have right and left-hand threads on them which makes lean-out adjustment more difficult
That Wally Frie had the Spirit attached to his XS11 with those stock clamps is a scary thought.
This is strictly for historic interest, it's NOT an optimum way to attach a sidecar, especially to a heavy powerful bike like the XS11.
I'll try with just links, the text is hard to read unless it's blown up a bit.
