      I don't feel quite so bad, I was only alive for the last half of that century and do not recall much of it. I did watch alot of those TV shows, only as re-runs.

        Somewhere out in the garage is a stack of 45's.
        Mom let us pick "one" out when we went to the base PX when we did the monthly grocery shopping. I only got to pick one if it was what my older brother AND sister wanted anyway

          One of my dream "toys" is a classic Whirlitzer that plays 45's, stocked with all that kind of music. That's my parents' generation, but I latched onto the music. It's all I listen to.

            I remember having huge stacks of 45's back in the 70's. I used to DJ for church dances and because of that I had an extensive collection. I wish I still had them now.
