Ebay is double edged in that its either the cheapest or the most expensive place to buy stuff.
As for Corbin...never met one that I ever liked..they all sucked...too hard and I could not ride more than 60 miles and I had to get off of it...so I would not lose any sleep over this one.
    Yea, I keep hearing that.

The cushon and cover aren't really important though. All I really need is a good solid pan.

I've aready got one from a xs850 but the pan is a little different. I don't know if I can mod it to fit.

I want a high back seat. One of my best longtime (30 years) friends has an upholstery shop down in Gainsville Tx. I can build it any way I want.

If you run across one I can pick up cheap let me know. OK?

I have a NOS seat like the one in the picture I bought for my MNS. It says it is for a special but if your tail light is under the grabrail it will not fit. The one I have is a goldish brown color and has never been sat on or been on a bike. I would sell for 25.00 plus shipping if it would fit your bike.

Not true Madmax, I have the same style(front portion) on my Venturer and they are a SADDLE, not a seat. Way comphy and can easily ride a tank of fuel out before stopping(170-190miles). I know your aware of what the Corbin configuration is on the ST, and is too hard for my taste(memory foam my butt), but for the cost of that new one 4ys. ago, I'll use it,(should have spent the extra 200 for the RussellDayLong)but memory foam DIDN'T exist back when my XS's seat was built, so the old Corbins were really nice to your back side. No need to slam Corbins unless you've had on on your scoot. Don't take one's comments as being true. Take it from someone who rides both the old and the new Corbins. I do know that if I ever change the Corbin on the XS to something else, it WILL be a RussellDayLong and same for the ST. Yes they will do there seat on my Corbin pan for the XS. Won't even consider having it done on my original factory XS tour seat, as it NEVER saw two weeks of daylight and is in the closet in factory perfect cond. You know as well as I do from the STriders site that the Russell is the most comfortable long distant tour seat on the planet...period.......if you can get past the "wings". True that the Russell takes away from the lines of the bike and some don't like the looks, but a 800+ mile day will still leave a smile on your face, and your backside will appreciate it too. Back to XSokie's dilemma........yea, he missed on the most comfortable seat for his XS, short of having Russell do a perfect per individual customer like they do. Interesting too, as with a pic of you and passenger (if you'll have one) they will do one that that will break in perfect for you. You know that from the reports on the ST site.

I have a stock type Sergeant saddle on mine. My butt still starts tingling after about an hour at 4000 rpm.

                  rover,

They aren't exactly e-bay type auction sites. Lean towards firearms. All of the Hot Topic sort of thing.
