I was looking for some information on air compressors, specifically the difference between ACFM and SCFM, and I found this website - Engineering Toolbox. There's all kinds of good info there, so I thought I would pass it along.

I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

Hey Doug, without burrowing through that site, the difference is atmospheric and actual thermo conditions. SCFM is Standard Cubic Feet per Minute. it relates to air at a standard condition of Atmospheric pressure and certain temperature and humidity conditions. ACFM is Actual Cubic Feet per Minute and relates to air at the current conditions of pressure temperature and humidity. Realistically, for most of us and espscially for garage use, there is really no difference.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

You should have burrowed. Take a look at this page. It even has a calculator for it.I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.
