  • You guys as awsome!!!!

I am just a young buck so I have never looked into the seventies bikes much. My first and only bike ,until my XS, was a 07 Vstar. My friend had told me about a old bike his dad was selling for cheap, I figured I would look at it so I would have something for my friends to beat around town with me. When I saw that XS I realized it had potential so I started looking around the web and found this site and the UK site. I read some forums for other bikes and I have to say the things that make the Xs so cool to me is the people that own them. On the other sites there mod list is bike specific aftermarket bolt ons, you guys come up with some really cool stuff, and you guys are much more helpful on the forums then the other sites. Sorry I started to ramble but I just wanted to say You guys as awsome!!!!

Alot of us, like me, are somewhat addicted to the bikes and the site. Glad that you like it. Gets even better once you meet some of the members and attend some rides.

Yeah, I was looking for a bike for a long time after I sold my last one (a Goldwing). I wanted a cruiser so that's what I was looking for, but I needed something in my price range. When I saw this bike I fell in love with it. I took it for a test drive and knew that was it. A few days later and bargaining with the guy and I had it. I didn't know if it was the right decision or not... I don't know much about bikes as far as price is concerned, but when I discovered this forum and the helpful people on it. And the knowledge and passion that these people so freely distributed about their bikes... well, I knew that I could have easily paid $400 more for the bike just for the support that this community has provided.

I am looking forward to going on some off those rides, it runs well enough, but when I pulled the seat and covers I found lots of scary wiring so I am going to clean it up and rewire it this winter and maybe if all goes as planed a few mods. I hope to make a rally or two next spring.
