There was a guy some years ago that hit a deer at about 60mph or so on a Kawasaki Concours. He went right through it and cut it in half. No injuries. When he got it stopped he looked the bike over and there was a lot of bent and broken stuff, but he was able to limp it into the next town. Sometimes you just get lucky.
