    well just had my first insident. Lady pulled out in front of me and had to play superman for a sec...lol. My baby got hurt pretty good. So looking for tripple trees forward on the XJ. Including fotrks handle bars headlight bucket and glass,clutch assy ....etc...etc..So if any of ya'll can help a brother out would be greatly appreciated.

    I hijacked this pic from TC's bike, but he had a similar incident, and didn't notice until years later that his frame had been bent. Make sure you take the tank off and check at these points also... You'll see where it put the stress of his impact to the frame.

      Two crashes in one day?? C'mon guys! What's going on?

      Glad to here you're still with us. Did you get hurt at all? Hopefully, you can get all the parts you need quickly and get back on the road.

        Dang, Chevy! Glad you're still with us!

        I'm w/ Bug... that's 2 for today now! Yamahansolo just posted about his!

        All this on the heels of Talihina...

        Guess we're all gonna really have to be on the lookout... the crazy cages have left the asylum...

        Think I'll look at the back of my jacket & make sure there's no bullseye...

        Wish I had some spare parts to help ya... but don't. Someone surely will chime in w/ some help soon for ya.

        Hope your "flight" as Superman had an easy touchdown, and you weren't injured...

          Sounds like you are ok so that is good!!

          There are a few XJs being parted out on Ebay right now so what you need may be available there. I found three sets of forks available.
          1979 XS11SF (Shiny Red Sled)
          1982 XJ11 (winter project- Black Beauty)
          1992 XT225 (yard sale find)

            Least you dont need parts replaced!

            Why does everyone always need to be reminded of andreashweiss when it comes to parts needed threads?

                  thanx for the kind words , retained a law person yesturday little sore as xcpexted. Ya made the contacts for parts on this site. (sorry mike ,didn't meen to be rude was with lawyer when ya called.)as usual parts for the xj little harder to obtain. Anyhoo,thanx again all 4 the well wishes and i agree with the new rule ,NO MORE CRASHES . Be safe and aware everyone the moon must be full.

                    Crash

                    It must have been the day for it.. I almost got it yesterday.. Lady in a Mustang, on her cell phone, just pulled right in front of me. I missed her maybe by 2 feet..Needless to say, I had some choice words for her! I was lucky I was going slow and had I been doing the speed limit, I don't think I could have avoided hitting her. Definitley ruined my ride!
