  • Last ride this year - Oh well

Been cold and wet for weeks. Today and tomarrow warm 54 deg. Thought it was time for my last ride this season. Filled her up with gas and got 10 miles out on a back country road and my rear tire went flat. I didn't realize it until damage had been done to the tube. She rode home in a trailor!

    Oh Well

Little Mo was a sweet ride this evening! A little cool at 49, but what the hey, I loved it!

Sorry to hear of the rotten luck Denny.

It was a warm and sunny 75 today in Tulsa. However, I caught me a cold and I thought it best not to ride today.

I'm riding tomorrow, sick or not.

Do you live in Ottawa? Been cold and wet here all summer.
Sorry to hear about the flat tire on a late season run. It's always a bummer when things go wrong on a ride that is close to storage time.

That sucks about the tire. It was nice here so I took the FJ for work. Put about 80 fast miles on it. Looks like I may get to ride tomorrow as well but the days are getting fewer and farther between.

It hit 61 degrees here yesterday and I took advantage of it and went out crusin on the XS. Suppose to be 60 again today with rain tonight so I'll be out there today runnin the roads. I just picked up a 78 parts bike this past weekend, so now I got a Vetter Windjammer IV with lowers, a trunk, and some hard bags I'm gonna throw on this winter. A nice saddle seat and a couple Dunlop D404's with less than a 1000 miles on them! I just put new Dunlops on this spring but for what I paid for the whole bike... was the price of just one new tire!
